how to use the vi editor in  linux based operating systems

vi editor is a common text editor

we can edit smb.conf , squid.conf , files using this vi editor

eg-  [root@server~]#vi /etc/squid/squid.conf



H,J,K,L BUTTONS CANBE USED TO  move the cursor in vi editor

H-MOVE CURSOR TO LEFT
J--MOVE CURSOR TO DOWN
K-MOVE CURSOR TO UP
L-MOVE CURSOR TO RIGHT

WE MUST  press the ' i ' to insert words
